Dr Nigel Warburton first to speak at consecutive Cambridge Union debates?

Dr Nigel Warburton (Senior Lecturer in Philosophy) is believed to be the first person to speak at two consecutive Cambridge Union debates.

Dr Warbuton debated “This House Believes that Hate Speech is Not A Human Right” in December 2012, with Michael Harris, the Head of Advocacy of the Index on Censorship.

He has now debated “This House Believes Oxbridge Has Failed Britain”with Olivia Williams, journalist at The Evening Standard, amongst others.
